Glabridin lotion: dispersion, precipitation and color

Licorice Root Extract · Glabridin-oriented fraction

Select a glabridin-oriented licorice fraction with its own assay and declared solvent or carrier. Distinguish dispersion from dissolution, then check precipitation after dilution into the full emulsion. Follow color under temperature and light exposure alongside microscopy and total versus supernatant glabridin; a clear concentrate or total assay alone cannot show that the material stays dissolved.

Check water/oil phase compatibility, solvent and carrier composition, pH and order of addition. Trial the intended use level in the full emulsion or gel.

Color, odor or viscosity change

Compare baseline and aged samples under suitable stability conditions in final packaging. Track the extract contribution separately from fragrance and preservatives.

Safety and documentation gaps

Request composition, relevant impurity limits and available technical information. Finished-product safety, preservation testing and claims assessment remain part of your development process.
