Botanical Sweetener RTD Concept

Application concept and scope

Compare monk fruit and stevia sweetener systems in a carbonated or still beverage before adding optional tea ingredients. The goal is an agreed taste profile, not a presumed zero-calorie or functional outcome.

This is an application concept, not a validated commercial formula. It is not an offer of finished-goods manufacturing, a dosage recommendation or a performance guarantee. Ingredient availability, specifications and any technical support scope require written confirmation.

Ingredient selection questions

  1. Define Mogroside V and steviol glycoside profiles, carriers and extraction routes. Record total caffeine if tea is included.

  2. Compare each sweetener alone and in blends at matched perceived sweetness, using a reference beverage. Record sweetness onset, lingering notes, bitterness and aroma compatibility.

  3. Test dissolution, haze, precipitation and flavor changes after the intended heat and carbonation steps. Confirm filling and microbial controls with the beverage manufacturer.

  4. Calculate nutrition from the complete formulation and verify any sugar or calorie label under destination rules; fruit components and carriers must be included.

Development gates before scale-up

  • Brief: Confirm destination market, product category, intended users, sensory target and ingredient exclusions. Check legal eligibility for each exact material before pilot work.
  • Raw materials: Request specifications, batch-specific COAs, full carrier composition, traceability and a risk-based contaminant panel. Agree methods and acceptance criteria, not just marker percentages.
  • Pilot: Document actual processing conditions and compare controls with candidate ingredients. The observations above are proposed tests, not results already obtained.
  • Release: The finished-product manufacturer and qualified specialists must establish food safety, stability, packaging compatibility, nutrition labeling and any claim substantiation. An ingredient COA cannot validate the finished product.

Prepare a technical inquiry

Send the target format, market, equipment constraints, sample requirements and quality priorities. Ask which documents and samples can be supplied; confirm services, lead time and commercial terms separately.
